Ramah Presbyterian Church is Christian, Reformed, and Presbyterian.
We are a church grounded in Jesus Christ looking to the future to nurture the people of God.
-
CHRISTIAN, we belong to Christ, our only Savior and Lord, and nurture a living faith in him.
-
REFORMED, we believe in the truth of God’s Word, the importance of worshiping God, and the living all of life to God’s glory. We are devoted to the Gospel and to the Scriptures. Scripture calls people to respond to the Gospel with repentance (turning away from sin) and faith (believing, trusting receiving, resting in Jesus Christ alone). We hold to the essential tenets of the Protestant Reformation: that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
-
PRESBYTERIAN, we are led by elders who are nominated and approved by the congregation. We are a part of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) which has approximately 1.7 million members, 9,829 congregations and 21,000 ordained ministers.
The Great Ends of the Church, as set forth in our Book of Order:
-
the proclamation of the Gospel for the salvation of humankind;
-
the shelter, nurture, and spiritual fellowship of the children of God;
-
the maintenance of divine worship;
-
the preservation of the truth;
-
the promotion of social righteousness; and
-
the exhibition of the Kingdom of Heaven to the world.
