Volunteering with Hope House
There are many ways that Ramah members and friends can volunteer at Hope House!
- We have Hope Builder buddies that partner with the children to read or help with after school skills.
- We have a Battle buddy group that are women from the community who meet weekly and help encourage the women of the Hope House with prayers, encouragement and art activities.
- We have Food Bank shoppers who "shop" for the families while the mother works and delivers groceries from the Food Bank.
- We have a welcome team that creates welcome baskets for when a family moves in.
- We have a move out team who helps refresh the rooms.
- We have pantry re-organizers, clothing sorters, and handy lady/man tasks!
We want folks to tell us how they can serve rather than us tell people what to do! We love the folks who drop off cookies or fresh fruit or veggies and of course we have gardeners too!”
